Born and living in Madrid, where she developed her artistic career, Teresa started out in the world of animation, working as a storyboard and layout artist on feature films and television series. Together with Juan Díaz Canales, she founded the Tridente Animation studio.

As a comic book author, began writing scripts. With Juanjo Guarnido she created the series “Brujeando”. Later, with Montse Martín, with whom she had shared many years at Tridente Animación, they created the “Curiosity Shop” trilogy. With Juan Díaz Canales wrote the script for “Gentlemind”, with art by Antonio Lapone.

Valero’s first solo work was “Contrapaso”, of which she is preparing a second volume.

The first volume, “Los hijos de los otros”, was acclaimed by critics and the public. It is a masterful comic thriller about the Spain that the dictatorship wanted to silence.
