JORDI LAFEBRE

Jordi Lafebre was born in 1979 in Barcelona, where he graduated as an illustrator and designer from the University of Fine Arts. From 2001 onwards he began to publish illustrations in several Spanish magazines, namely in the youth magazine “Mister K”, in which he signed “El Mundo de Judy” with a screenplay by Toni Front. His meeting with Zidrou, a Belgian screenwriter living in Spain, proved decisive and led to the publication of his works in the Franco-Belgian market, first in the magazine Spirou and later in collective works. Lafebre’s first work with Zidrou is “Lydie” (Dargaud, 2010), followed in 2014 by “La Mondaine” (Dargaud) and, in 2015, also at Dargaud, “Happy Summers”. After the albums dedicated to the adventures of the Faldérault family, Jordi Lafebre delves into the writing and drawing of what would become his first album as a full-length author: “Despite everything”, published in 2020 by Dargaud.
Her most recent work is I Am Your Silence, published in 2023 by Dargaud.
