André Lima Araújo graduated in Architecture from the University of Minho in 2009, and even worked as an architect for a year. In 2011 he began his career as an illustrator and author and, after a series of small jobs, he began his relationship with Marvel in 2012.

André illustrated several issues of different titles (“X-Men”, “Fantastic Four”, “Age of Ultron”), becoming a regular author of the new monthly series, “Avengers A.I” in 2013. This was followed by “Inhumans” and “Spider-Man” (in the books “Spider-Verse”, “Scarlett Spider” and “Spidey”) and “Black Panther”. In parallel, he has always developed original works, such as “Generation Gone”, created in partnership with Ales Kot (Image Comics) and “Man Plus” (Titan Comics), written and drawn by him and with a Portuguese version by Kingpin Books.

In 2019 he started working at DC Comics, where he developed a relationship with Brian Bendis, giving rise to the ambitious “Phenomena” project, the first two volumes of which are now on sale. He then moved on to the black detective “A Righteous Thirst For Vengeance” (with Rick Remender) and recently finished the third volume of “Phenomena” (scheduled for 2025).

He is currently working on a new original book with Rick Remender.
